Welcome to the Mares' Page!!
SS Shoshawna

Tracy and Shawna Mae
"Shawna Mae" is a 1998 Registered Appaloosa mare. She is approximately 15.1hh and has a set of the prettiest blue eyes you will ever find on a horse. Shawna's jog is slower than some horses' walk and she is wonderful on the trail.
Here's Shawna out in the field with her blanket and snow white nose!

Keepers Dynasty

Sojo is a 1999 bay overo mare with beautiful blue eyes. She was broke to ride as a two year old but has been being a broodmare the last few years. This past winter, Sojo went back to school and is now doing well under saddle and enjoys trail riding. Sojo is a great mom, producing gorgeous, well built babies! She is booked to be bred to a Cremello Quarter Horse in Spring of 2009.

Penny

You will notice that Penny does not have a fancy, registered name. Penny is the "lesson horse and show horse extradonaire". Rumor has it Penny was once registered and had been shown a bit. I purchased her from a farm that was using her for beginner English riding lessons. Penny definitely has Western Pleasure experience as she can jog with the best of them! She is the favorite of all students and does very well in the local shows.
Fancy Diamond Chip

Fancy is now a year old as well. My how time flies! Fancy is the offspring of my best show mare, SS Shoshawna, and Broken Chip, himself a champion show horse. Shawna is starting to show a little stiffness in her hocks so she may be retired to broodmare in the next couple of years. Fancy is slated to be my next show mount. She is currently training in hand in the same manner as Sammi. When it is time for saddle training, Fancy will be started with Western Pleasure in mind. She is naturally low-headed, slow legged and has a baby-doll head.
